Every supervisor, and supervisor's supervisor, I had was laid off or accepted work elsewhere before I was laid off. All of the management that I was familiar with did a great job despite the job ending circumstances.

3.9 I am currently an MEP Superintendent with Tutor-Perini and over the last 5 years, I have taken several $100M+ Projects from the Ground-up thru TCO and through Closeout. A few of my daily tasks have included but are not limited to: supervising 40+ subcontractors (Electricians, Sheet Metal Workers, Mechanics, Sprinkler Fitters, Insulators) on a daily basis, scheduling meetings with the Building Inspectors, Architects and the Engineer of Record. Using Pro-log to write RFIs and Submittals, using Plan Grid to pull up contract documents, using AutoCAD & BIM to find MEP conflicts, using MS Excel to create Equipment Commissioning schedules, and life safety Pressurization spreadsheets. Using Outlook to create 2 weeks look ahead schedules for my MEP subs, taking Projects from the Ground-up to TCO and ultimately thru Project Closeout, and sitting down with the GS and PM to update the schedule. The tutor is a good firm, but for a variety of reasons, I feel it may be time to look elsewhere.
