"Great company to start out your engineer."
"Working at pike has allowed me to gain entry-level experience as a mechanical engineer, and I am thrilled to have had this opportunity. The team I work with was excellent and was always there to help assist me in any way that I needed."
"I worked at Pike Engineering for slightly over two years. The work itself is an interesting challenge. Every project you take on is different and that varying challenge is quite enjoyable. The scope of some of the projects are incredibly large and involve a large amount of coordination. Pike Engineering upper management struggles with leadership and putting the employees first, but the direct supervisors and co-workers and great."
"Pike engineering is a wonderful place to work for. They are cutting edge and treat the employees great."
"I have worked for the company for 2.5 years and truly enjoyed working there. The environment was great and had everything you would want out of a job. Sadly they are closing our office otherwise I would not be leaving."
"I've worked for Pike for 4 years, every day I feel more like a number than an employee. The management is always changing (usually not for the better) and the workflow is spotty at best."
"I've worked for Pike Engineering for 2 years. It was my first job out of college. This company and opportunity is a fantastic beginning job teaching new grads to be professional. One thing that made me look for other opportunities is that there is very little growth opportunities within the company."
"Worked about a year in this company. The great starting place for recent graduates. The relaxed atmosphere so not much stress in workload. The downside is I can't see much career progression within this company from current positions. The salary also seems a bit low."
"Worked at this job for a couple months recently laid off"
"Pike Engineering is a fine place to work. The primary issue with employment is not the company, but our prime customer. We are the number one contractor to Xcel energy. They hold the monopoly in energy within Colorado. Many of their processes leave us starting jobs with customers, who are already disappointed with the inefficiency of how Xcel operates. The challenge of the job is turning this tide. It's very satisfying to be able to curate a happy customer."
"Great work environment. Great place to start and gain experience!"
"It’s just Very fast-paced environment so you will find yourself doing more than you bargained for and sometimes without proper training."
