"I had been with Pilgrim's for 16 years. They had provided me many opportunities for advancement over the years and I had mostly worked with a knowledgeable and caring team. The company has been driving more people first initiatives but it has still not been driven deep enough into the organization. The turnover rates for this company are very high upwards of 100% and greater for some business units."

"They expect a generous amount of hard work and hours from employees for below standard pay."

"The CEO and Board of Directors aren't very realistic when it comes to production and quality. They want a level of production that sacrifice quality to meet it."

"I would interact more with the employees, and offer train to help them do their job more efficiently."

"It is one of the better paying companies to work for in this area. Right now there it's the only company hiring in this area."

"They expect a generous amount of hard work from you for minimal pay. Family and school is not taken into account, so you have to plan those things around your work schedule."

"The CEO and board of directors are unrealistic when it comes to quality and production. They want a level of production that sacrifices quality to meet it."

"If I were the CEO I would try to interact more with the employees. I would also offer training to help employees work together and perform their jobs more efficiently."

"A large corporation with a lot of opportunity to succede or fail."

"Everyone is under the gun to perform. This translate to little to no room for error. If you do not know what you are doing do not apply."

"The pressure to improve on the production numbers and cost made the jobs there unbearable."

"I would listen to the personnel on the floor more. This was one of the main issues at this location."

"I managed the business development team which handled national, retail, fast food accounts and commodity. We support reporting, budgeting and forecasting using SAP."

"They moved to Colorado so I had to give up my job."

"Let employees work remote and upgrade the hardware more often."

"Working from Pilgrims gave me the ability to learn to handle multible plants at one time. I had 22 plants in my own care."

"Be willing to want to stay put- except the job you get is the one you will stay in."

"Once the CEO passed away, the new one didn't have the same vision, oppertunity died with him within the company."

"Be willing to make change even when people are so good, you don't want to loose them out of your department."

"good pay, moving up was a possibility, doing multiple jobs at once, never just standing around"

"Keep to yourself and avoid certain supervisors, and in this company its not about what you do, its about who you know."

"most of the management was rude and disrespectful of the workers, alot of people bent the rules for their benefit."

"if you hate you job, quit. there should be no disrespect toward employes. if your going to accept the responsibility of a supervisor then act adult."

"Make sure you are willing to give up your family life."

"We dont get hardly any time off and we dont make that much for the time we have to spend away from our families."

"Some of the managers need to be a little nicer considering when there job is on the line its there people that get them out of a bind."
