Rinker Materials Corporation was a global producer of concrete, aggregate, concrete pipe and other building products. CEMEX, one of the largest cement producers and building materials suppliers in the world, acquired Rinker in 2007. CEMEX absorbed Rinker's products and specialties, including its popular Stormceptor® storm water management systems.

CEMEX's worldwide offices are in Mexico, although CEMEX USA's headquarters are in Houston, Texas. In all, the company operates facilities in more than 50 countries and maintains a U.S. presence of 46 cement distribution sites, 13 cement plants, 420 ready-mix concrete plants and more than 100 quarries.
