"The management lied to employees when I was laid off. We were told that the layoff would be at the end of the following month, that names had not been picked yet, and that certain benefits stopped immediately when they didn't.Professional education was paid out of pocket and then reimbursed if the company felt like it. At least in my case this was true even when it was training the company wanted you to take."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Don't use optimistic scheduling. Test the product to the limits you state it will support, not just what the parts say they can handle.Invest in your employees, technology, and process."
