"The University of Washington drives new ideas and innovations that educate and make the world a better place. I love to create and deliver courses for The University of Washington. Interacting with students on the real-world projects that they are working on has been great for me as a UW instructor and software engineer."

"The University of Washington is a great place to work in general, however, it can be challenging to improve and have room for growth or receive higher compensation. I do appreciate the work life balance and enjoy the people I work with. For these reasons I'd still recommend working at UW over some competitive companies."

"Organization is slow to act on issues of importance. People say pay is low, but it is not when you factor in benefits. However, some supervisors are bias when setting salaries. Co-workers are often the best part of the job. You can not trust that administration. Hard to get into the system, it is all about who you know not what you know, which is a shame."

"The Quantitative Skill Center is a great place to work for several exciting reasons, you get to meet like-minded students who enjoy STEM fields and are willing to share their knowledge with others, out peer student mentees remind us of our early struggle as students and we (the tutors) get to help them get through similar academic challenges we faced. It truly is a fun work environment and I wish I had joined the team as soon as I started my student career at UWB!"
