"The company was great to work for but the new metric VOICE holds us accountable for the customers feeling against the company and it's policy. If a customer makes a payment over the phone we are required to charge a fee, if the customer is upset and gives a failing review the agent is held responsible. The same thing goes for late fees, bill due date or any other policy the company has. The customer can clearly state the agent was friendly and answered all of the questions but if the company receives a low score so does the agent along with the possibility of a consult up to and including termination. That in my opinion is cowardice."

"Place sales above customer service, associates are expected to sell products to customers regardless of the value of that product to that particular customer. ie selling internet based products to seniors who have already told you they do not have a computer."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Tailor products offered more closely to customer bases, give associates greater latitude regarding products offered. Update close codes to actually reflect what the customers really want."
