"I worked at Amazon for 4 years, ending in January 2016. I enjoyed working with many smart and highly driven people, however the management structure and team likes to burn people out. It is no secret, you need to be wiling to give up a significant portion of your personal life (ie: No Work-Life balance) to be successful at Amazon. They often manage people out if they are not working enough."

"After one year spent in the AWS data center environment I can only say positive things about the experience. The management at all levels was helpful and responsive, my co-workers were all knowledgeable and friendly, and the on-the-job perks of an open schedule, light workload and company sponsored dinners put the entire thing over the top. I have heard some other teams in the area do not get the same perks, so other reviews may vary."
