"I was a consultant for them so I am not sure about their benefits. They had some significant layoffs at the executive level and other levels so the security is low."
What do you like about working at Apollo Agencies?
"I liked the challenge of the project I was working on. I had to streamline the accounting responsibilities then transition those responsibilities to the cash department at the Manhattan Beach, Ca headquarters location. It was great to train the cash department on the new responsibilities I developed for them."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Be personable and show that you are willing to work overtime and improve processes."
What don't you like about working at Apollo Agencies?
"Apollo was going through a rough time and it was sad to see people let go who had been with the company for over tens years. There were a lot of tears and it was hard to see people go through such difficult times."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"I think if management were more open to ideas and had a better open-door policy, it would have helped a lot of people try to better the company."
"Agency's sales and service vision is rapidly changing do to ownership buyout leaving employess and insureds unsure of their goals and partnership."

"I can honestly say I loved everything about my job for 15 years. Responsibility, expectations, dual respect of my superiors and for my superiors. Honesty, environment, self worth and personal growth"

What don't you like about working at Apollo Agencies?
"As the winds of change are blowing in this downed economy, Apollo is experiencing internal vision changes that are dramatically effecting all associates as well as out valued insureds. Our retention is dropping dramatically as insured's do not wish to adjust to a call center environment. They want that personal service of one CSR that know them by name and their story."
