"I worked here for two years. My advice is to not work here, at least not longer than a year. The amount of work you are expected to do for the amount of pay you get ($7.50 to $9 starting--baristas max out at $11) is ridiculous. Further, your managers get a bonus for keeping labor costs low, so it is in their interest to keep the store understaffed and workers under hours. When I got a second job to keep up with rent, I was gossiped about ruthlessly and endlessly (suddenly I was the reason the schedules were weird! Who knew?), despite giving way more than the required two weeks notice. Caribou is like the world's worst boyfriend--treats you awfully, expects unconditional love in return, and when you work up the nerve to leave, begs you to come back and doesn't understand why you left. SKIP IT. Work for the other guys if you must."
