Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"It seems they use a dimensional interview. What would you do if you saw an employee stealing ect. How would you handle this type of situation ect."
What don't you like about working at Edison International?
"During the time when we were having rolling blackouts and Edison was on the edge of going into bankruptcy I was offered a job a Kaiser. They could of handled that crises a little better. Our stock went from 40.00 a share to $7.00 a share. I lost most of my retirement due to the fact I could not pull it out at the time."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Keep employees where they are best qualified. For green causes let more people telecommute a day or two a week or transfer to a location near where thy live."

"It was a temporary position. It was an interesting experience."

"It was a very inefficient business and moved slowly."

"Analyze the workforce and only keep those necessary to the success of the company."

"The amount of work that was available for the taking, i.e. overtime, double shifts. The ability to constantly learn was always available. My staff and co-workers were amazing."
What don't you like about working at Edison International?
"The coal dust started to get to me as well as the cold weather on Lake Michigan for 7 to 8 months of the year."
