"Worst morale ever."

What do you like about working at EDmin.com?

"Decent tools and technology - many great people. Among workers, there is a great family type atmosphere."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Ask about their organizational structure. Ask about turnover. High turnover is always a bad sign."

What don't you like about working at EDmin.com?

"No leadership. CEO believes in working harder, not smarter and is surrounded by managers who won't tell him otherwise. The most recent endeavor is an idea of a firm of endearment - which in practice really means - a place where you work just because you love your company - which is great for a startup or a company that is rapidly growing. This company is in decline. Shrinking client base. A lot of very talented people have been hired over the past couple years - people that would have made a positive difference. They all left. As management continues to lay people off (I am next) there is an expectation that we should be excited that it wasn't us - like this is some reality TV show and each of us wants to be the last one standing. And in this firm of endearment the only time our local office gets a visit from headquarters is when it's time to lay someone off.3 years ago we took an across-the-board 5% pay cut. Haven't seen any increase since, but the CEO continues to ask us all to work a little harder and do one more thing before you leave for the day.Morale is about as low as it could be."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Grow a backbone. Don't tell employees yes, you're right, we need to work on that and then be afraid to stand up to the CEO and fight for what you said you believe is right."
