"Finishline is a good company but lacks compassion for any of their employees. They will replace you in a heartbeat but expect you to break your back for their company. They have recently cut everyone's pay, taking away the National Management Meeting, and lack certain perks and benefits for their employees."
"My position at finishline as an IT support technician has allowed me to work with great staff, coworkers, and leaders in the company. I recommend anyone to work if they want to excel in their careers of any choice."
"A lot of great people to work with, but some of the team leads/managers do not provide favorable work conditions. A lot of favoritism and downright bullying. My current sup is awesome, but they switch out supervisors frequently. You also take orders from others outside of your supervisor."
"I’ve been here since August and I love every bit of it because I’m around high energy people with a common interest in shoes. Everyone is supportive of each other venturing off into our life long careers."
"This company demands more work hours and less of a work-life balance."
"I've worked for Finish line for over 2 years now. I have been very lucky to have worked for an excellent manager and director. While there is a lot of opportunity for teamwork, seniority can sometimes take preference over expertise. It is also a very male dominated company so they often like to unknowingly push women's ideas off to the side, but if you stand up for yourself, you will be heard and have more success in the input into the project or planning."
"The exceeds expectations in their role to provide a safe and clean working environment. They adhere to OSHA safety rules and regulations, which makes it easy to adapt to change, to work well under pressure with a positive attitude and to be detail-oriented."
"Worked with this company for many years. Great work environment inside the four walls. Outside of that, you're on your own. Upper management may not fulfill their promises."
"I do not believe Finish Line supports the development of employees and reduces the opportunities for advancement."
"I stated in July 2008 with Finish Line, and like many corporations, this one is very concerned with the bottom dollar. I have seen numerous times that long time employees are passed up by younger ones that do not have the proper training. Turnover is extremely high and many things are cut financially to help the customer, sometimes for the worst."
