"The company is named after the owner, not the managers."

"Family type work environment. Opportunity to create new ideas. There is a lot of growth potential in the company assuming the employees are allowed to make full contributions to projects."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"It's a good company but make sure to negotiate for a comfortable salary as you might not get an increase. Also know that just because you are really good at something, someone who has more experience, even if it's barley related to the field, will get paid more. FORTE hires individuates that can talk the talk, but can't walk the walk all to often."
What don't you like about working at FORTE?
"There is no promoting from within. There is no formal schedule performance reviews. The is no bonus plan to promote well executed and on time projects. Many of the views on how thing should be done come from individuals that have no knowledge on newer equipment and a vague idea of what it can do and how it works."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Trust the people you hire to do the work, and stop causing more issues by questioning them. Bring engineers in at the ground level of a project because its becoming clear your promising a Unicorn when we can only find a Donkey."
"One-way"
What do you like about working at FORTE?
"The opportunity to develop and implement a new product line"
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"This is a good company to grow with if you have skills and career asperations in distribution center design. I would proceed with caution if your career asperations are beyond within the four walls of a distribution center."
What don't you like about working at FORTE?
"The under capitalization of the company and the narrow supply chain perspective of some of its senior decision makers."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Management views distribution center design (rack, conveyer, middleware IT) as its core competency and labels non-design related supply chain consulting as soft consulting. This view limits the growth potential of the company and I have personally viewed prospective clients turned off when its leaders expess their views."
