"Software leadership has always been inexperienced and incompetent. Management is clueless and composed of family, friends, and brown-nosers. Senior developers are ignorant of modern software design, development, and delivery principles, so they make bad decisions based on irrational, yet persuasive arguments or the advice of their favorites. There is no training or mentoring, but you have nothing to learn from them anyway. NIH (Not-Invented-Here) syndrome and EDD (Ego-Driven Development) dominate. Software quality is quantifiably terrible."
"I should have known that the atmosphere was toxic after 2 hours of being grilled in the interview, in what I call a Gorilla White board interview. I made it through the interview and was hired about 6 months ago. I was put into a software group that was seriously in trouble. The management of the group are a bunch of sycophants with only their personal interests at heart. I gave my notice and will be leaving after only 6 months. I do not recommend anyone working for this crap company, as you will be treated like chattel and be worked into the ground. Also the good old boy network is alive and well and if your not a member you will not have a chance. Most of them are former Northrop Grumman employees that retired and brought their ilk with them."
"Medium sized company experienced with DoD and commercial contracts. Matrix hierarchy with established business instructions and AS9100 and ISO4100 certified Does not allow employees to work remotely 401K and Pension plans"
"The lay off was to rid the company of the old people, 1400 people we laid-off"
"ASI is a strong competitor in the UAV market. Producing a large number of UAV's for various customers. They provide a comprehensive benefits package, and are a good company to work for."
"GA is one of the few companies that still does real R&D projects and values ingenuity from their engineers. It was a fun place to work"

"General Atomics is an industry innovator and leadership in technology and aerospace industry. They gave me many opportunities which I took full advantage of to assist them in attaining their goals. I had a fantastic relationship with the company and my co-workers helping them to meet their professional endeavors. Now I seek to accomplish the same successes with your organization."

Management provides support for getting the tools we need to get the job done. They have flexible work schedules and promote work-life balance. We are provided with high end development environments and ergonomic work stations."
