"If they cared about family time, and health insurance it would be an awesome company."
What do you like about working at Lindsey Management?
"Supervisors. They made the job so much more enjoyable. Also the different situations every day. Nothing is ever the same with residents."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Look cute. Be perky. Smile a lot. Talk about making this your long term career."
What don't you like about working at Lindsey Management?
"Low pay, overworked, no health benefits. Company budgeted for what benefits the company and although both spouses required for most properties (management) neither spouse offered health care, or time to work a second job that offers it."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Offer health care. Give employees more than 4 days off a month after working 12-19 days straight plus being on call 24 hours a day. Increase base pay. Its your managers who take new properties or have vacancy who work the hardest for your company. When you require spouses to work from 8-6 at a minimum you leave no time for family life. Parents get to have dinner with their kids right after work, clean, and put the kids to bed and thats it, which wouldnt be bad if managers at least had one or two guaranteed days off a week. There are only 4 holidays a year, so even on Easter, your in the office instead of where you belong. The phones dont ring, there are no shows...but the office needs to be open just in case. Let managers make their family number one, and retention and happy employees would be better. There are so many employers out there who have programs to make happy employees and show that the company cares (paid time off, personal holidays plus vacation, health benefits...etc)However the company has been around a long time, and makes a lot of money. Maybe they know what they are doing.I will say if you are in bonus at a large property the pay potential is amazing."
