"This is the first company I worked for and did not get PTO nor holiday pay. The only ones that get this are the salary workers in the office and the technicians in the field due to the union. The management team is nice but the hr fails to disclose that info at the time of the interview and once you bring it to her attention she acts as if this is the first time she has ever heard of this"
"Family owned and operated commercial flooring company. Recently, growth in the economy has led company to expand, without organized growth plan. Training for new employees is nil, and any goals or projections to reach goals is not shared by management. Very unorganized and cumbersome bidding and procurement systems need reorganization and further thought before continued implementation. There is a lot of duplication of effort among staff, as the system to assign and bid projects is haphazard. Take-off software is difficult to learn and left to employee to figure out. Lots of repetitive work. Not for the creatively minded. Suggestions will get you fired."
