"love the independence, hate the attempts to regulate the provider/patient relationship. Knowledge and competence are valued less than widget production and approval of upper-level management's poor job. Retention of personal care providers is atrocious."
". So in short I signed on for a specific location, for 1 year with a specific pay, and I ended up working at a different location, for 10 months, and the pay was less then we agreed. The people were very nice, and politely explained to me that they would not fix their employees mistake. As I told Human Resource representative, based on all the emails, and phone conversations it was not a misunderstanding on my part. It was obvious that either the recruiter was an idiot or he blatantly lied to me to get me to sign on. PLEASE DO NOT WORK FOR THIS COMPANY. I gave them every opportunity to fix their mistakes, but they refused. They know they were wrong, and I was right, but would not admit to it because then they would be legally bound. It is extremely frustrating when the conversations you have reflect that they know you are right, but they are protecting their company so they just keep telling you “I can see why this is upsetting, I will take it to my supervisor. If you value your time, your pay, and your mental health NEVER EVER work for this company NO MATTER what the position is as they WILL FIND A WAY TO SCREW YOU. Legal disclosure this is what happened in my situation, and I can only speak from my perspective, and my experience. That being said I am a 20yr Army retiree, and 9 year Physician Assistant, and have worked for many employers. THIS IS NOT HOW GOOD BUISNESS IS ACOMPLISHED."
