"Very challenging workplace. There is very limited support and the organization has been though bankruptcy recently so everything is stripped back to the bone. No appreciation for employees and morale is horrible. It is a good cause and there are good people but the management is horrible."

"If you are working with Rural/Metro, plan to make it a career and work hard. People will notice a job well done, and advancement can be right around the corner. Also a fantastic place to learn a new trade, many positions require no billing experience!"

"The work is hard, I do the work of at least two people if not more. Our office is extremely busy and under staffed."

"Do away with the mandatory Rural/Metro shirt, let us wear business casual, jeans, nice blouse. Nothing wrong with it, we do not deal with the general public face-to-face."
