"Awesome company to work in. The tech stack and the amazing co workers challenge you to work better"
"At an early age I internalized my school motto–“I will and I can”. It taught me to fully commit to a mission that I believed in and to learn/acquire any skills necessary to achieve it. This principle helped me step into the role of a QA Architect/ Manager (in 4yrs), leading a cross functional Agile team of 15 QA engineers, to an Architect (in 6yrs), directing a complex micro services project to my current role of Leading Automation,Performance,Security thus managing budgets gate keep of quality of scalable, highly available and fault tolerant cloud platform."
"I have worked with Skillsoft for about 1.5 years. There are a number of smart, generous people who work here and want to succeed. The company is based in Boston and has a global footprint."
"Great benefits and work-life balance. If you like to just come in, get your work done and get paid well to do so than this is a fantastic fit! Leadership is supportive and flexible and the product is best in breed!"
"This company is focused on profits for the investment companies that own it. The management doesn't appear to value the employees and especially not their careers. The products are a kludge, getting better since they bought Element K, but the teams are silo'd and do not communicate with each other. Even when their products are highly coupled. This leads to obvious problems with compatibility and integration. There is a mindset of, "This is the way it has always been done. So this is the way we will continue to do it.", even when they don't know how the process originiated or why certain decsions were made."
"I worked with the corporate marketing team for just over a year. I went through many changes as far as the actual team and its leadership. Never had a real common goal, everyone was about themselves and it never seemed like it was a team striving for the betterment of the company. My role was on a constant change every 3 months. I was sat down and told I had to do my job and my role this way."
"not bad"
