"I've worked for Tokio Marine for nearly 7 years. Two years ago the company changed CEOs and it has become a more relaxed environment to work for. You'll find many employees have been there for at least 10 + years so turnover isn't high with the exception of the IT dept. The company is one of the strongest in the Insurance/Underwriting industry and has performed well each year."
"TMHCC is growing quickly by acquisition, so it's a secure place to work. Its holding company is a 140-year-old Japanese company. It is very conservative but has a 37.5 hour work week, good benefits and decent vacation. That said, it does exhibit growing pains in terms of both staff relationships and work activities."
"When I initially joined the company was NAS insurance and recently acquired by Tokio Marine HCC. Positives about my current role are I get to wear different Hats and I’m not juts stuck with QA, but also got to learn Data Base configurations and to set up Continuous Integration. The work culture is very flexible and the my manager is super cool. The only thing is me being a contractor they do not do sponsorships and convert me full time even though I was told this was a contract to hire position."
