What do you like about working at Gloucester County Emergency Medical Service?

"The variety. Being a shift supervisor, I was able to respond to 911 medical calls, supervise, educate and help people."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"I would suggest to people to brush up on their basic CPR and BLS skills. You are tested on these during a second interview."

What don't you like about working at Gloucester County Emergency Medical Service?

"Didn't really like working the night shift when it was my turn. I always tried to schedule continuing education classes or vacation during this time."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"It wasn't a big problem but being this was local government, I wouold have to say; hire people based on their skills and knowledge and not so much on who they know."

"Be prepared to be challenged daily and to work lots of overtime."

"This job took an emotional toll alot of the time to do the types of calls that came into the call center."
