Emergency Medical Technician

"I recently made a year at American on January 2015. In my year working I can honestly say I have no major complaints. The work hours are extremely flexible, you can work as much as you want or as little, it's up to you. I pretty much just come to work and mind my own business and the feel around the station is pretty mellow, most of the co workers are cool people. There of course is the cons though which are probably that you're under paid, and you're sometimes over worked and that pretty much sums it all up. All in all I can say that it's a great starter job for the EMS field as an EMT or Medic and it gives you a great feel on what to expect. Most of your calls will be bs but you can get some good ones from time to time."
