What don't you like about working at American Media?
"Very stressful work environment. Not the correct field for me, but unfortunately I feel stuck doing a job that I am not passionate about and it shows. People here only care about themselves and only take into account when you screw up. A lot of corruption makes it an uncomfortable work enviroment."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"do things to bring up the morale in the office. try to place people in different areas instead of just letting them go on the spot. caring more about employees and hiring people for the right reasons."

"Be yourself, be professional, be positive and open to different possibilities"

"The company has been doing a lot of downsizing, so there was no opportunity for growth and employees were fearful of being laid off"

"Not many, really. I liked the Director I worked for and noticed that most other employees in different departments liked their managers as well."

"It has some big titles and it is a face-paced environment. Worded correctly and it is automatically assumed that you are experienced from the name alone. Great resume builder."

"Take what you can get and don't get emotionally attached to any part of this company because it can change with a blink of an eye"
What don't you like about working at American Media?
"It is very corporate and unless you are in a high management position, you are on a needs to know basis. Asked to do things without any explanation. Be afraid of the layoffs! There are plenty and with that a lot of turn over. Dont expect to move up here you will need to go elsewhere to get a raise."

"My department didn't have much while I was there. The 2 different managers I had have left and gone elsewhere."

"It would've been nice if AMSI actualyl were able to fill the sales placed. They had constant problems with their technology."
