"I have been working for Aurora Cooperative Elevator Company for about a month now. My position title is Safety & Risk Management Intern. I primarily work with the safety division but interact with people from different divisions on a daily basis. My role is to go from location to location and perform safety audits. I basically meet with the location manager and walk around the plant with him to inspect how safe the environment is and if they are in compliance with all safety protocols. During my time here, I am also working on OSHA training as well as risk management online training courses. The people I work with and the environment I work in has exceeded my expectations and I really enjoy what I am doing here. I hope to find a place for me to work consistently with a similar environment. I look forward to establishing new relationships and learning new things in the field of safety."
