"I have worked here for several years and I have seen things that upper management and HR does not care about and it seems they just brush it under the rug things such as racism name calling cussing steeling cash in abundance and being caught in the act and much more to include asking customers and employees alike about one’s individual sexual activities as in who has that person slept with this has bin reported to HR and upper management and here we stand like nothing has ever happened store manager does not even know their employees name and are treated worse than scum at times and tries to make up for it after the fact that the disrespect has already happened is like walking on egg shells here black men come in and they look at them as they are going to steal and treats them completely different than their own kind and are always having arguments with such Autozone property is even given away in exchange of favors and can be seen on cctv if they look for it"
"Promises made and all of them broken. For over a year my store has been run short handed, commercial is running short as much as 50 hours a week leaving me doing the work of two people. The thanks for this has been a large reduction in pay from quarterly bonus (almost 10k a year) My sales target is larger than when I had a full staff two years ago. To make matters worse they keep adding more tasks to make the job more difficult and time consuming resulting in a lack of service to the customer. I spend my days getting yelled at by customers for long delivery times due to the fact that they only give me one delivery driver, and he's not a hard worker. The job has become so stressful that it makes me want to cry sometimes, a former marine shouldn't be crying due to a poor paying job. Management above store level regularly proves they don't care about the people working in stores. The company starts workers at or just above minimum wage, resulting in few decent workers coming in and less sticking around."
"I've Worked for Autozone for about a year and a half as a Store Manager. Work and Home Life balance is almost non existent. Working with customers and working with a great team is the benefit of AutoZone."

"Good job to gain some experience. But I would not recommend making it a lifetime career."
"Autozone is a great place to work but ultimately wasn't the place I wanted to work for in the long run. I wanted to work in a field related to that of which I studied. Poor management and long hours under short pay led to the overall dissatisfaction and leaving of the company."
"It is an interesting work environment You never know what kind of amazing work and repairs customers and mechanics have planned for that day. It can go from simple oil changes to entire engine swaps. The employees and co-workers support one another and ultimately make the work environment a very fun place to work. Any new employee with dedication and strive for success can always move up to a more managerial role, the growth in the company is admirable. There is on job training but it is also beneficial to have prior knowledge in the automotive industry to move ahead. However, there is always learning opportunities at this job."

"Great place to start first job especially if you are a d.i.y persona. Hours are flexible if by chance you are performing college schooling. Management was nice."
"I've worked for AutoZone for 4 or 5 months now and have to say their training is very thorough. You don't really have to worry about not knowing much about cars or autoparts sales. They teach you what you need to know if you'll listen and don't leave any stone unturned. There's also potential for upward movement into management if you catch on quick."
"I worked at Autozone for over a year and it was a good job for customer engagement. This job helped me learn more about my car and the troubles that come with it. I learned new pieces of information every day I went to work."
