"Very controlled environment where ideas for improvements were not accepted"
What do you like about working at Aversan?
"It was a job and paid the bills allowing me to eat food"
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"If you're interviewed by the CEO in a round one, entry level job interview this is usually a bad sign."
What don't you like about working at Aversan?
"Very controlled environment. Ideas were presented that were dismissed without any discussion. Ideas that weren't filtered through the Tech Lead were dismissed entirely. Ideas that were filtered through the Tech Lead were never presented to upper management for approval. The IT department as a whole had a terrible reputation for not getting things completed on time, implementing the incorrect technologies and not being surgical with their execution. This was mainly because upper management was heavily entwined in the day to day operations of IT and would push down solutions that weren't required."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Stop leading the company through fear and intimidation. You have hired employees to work and do their job, put some faith in their abilities and allow them to do what they were hired for."
