What do you like about working at Bank of America?

"For almost two years, actually, it was a frustrating experience: incompetent management and deceitful employees (met several who were fired for taking money, even supervisors), all of which created an individual dirty competition among them all. Upper management cared only for daily, mandatory (forced) sales of products to customers through tellers and personal bankers NO MATTER HOW or else..."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"YES. Be HONEST and SINCERE so that high level bank management stop receiving the wrong and distorted picture of what is really happening at the branches, what the real experience, emotions, feelings of employees are and not what the branch managers and their supervisors want senior management to hear and believe."

What don't you like about working at Bank of America?

"Aggressive (insulting and threatening) customers who did not have money in their accounts, did not want to comply with ID requests, did not fill out required transactions forms, WERE ALWAYS RIGHT while the bank employee ALWAYS WAS AT FAULT for trying to do the right thing... how about that?"

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Leave your comfortable office atmosphere and come down to the branches and observe, and then listen to and talk to the low level bank employees who are the ones in the trenches--not the manager. Tellers and personal bankers are neglected and disregarded since every conversation and meeting is among Managers and so-called Supervisors, who want all the credits (and bonuses) for them. Consequently, there is a lot of gossip behind their backs, resentment, low level morale, and most employees stay until they find a better job with potentially more rewarding results, both personally and professionally."
