Blue Dog Boarding & Daycare Employee

"Will tell you that you'll be working the receptionist position just so you accept their offer and then they will stick you in the back indefinitely until the ornery owner "decides you're worth" moving to the front... If EVER. Owner doesn't introduce self to new employees. There is a huge culture of bad-mouthing the owner and fellow coworkers behind everyone's back. The receptionist position and dog walker position get paid the same amount - really? So I can't catch an extra 25 cents for cleaning up pee and poop all day? Several dogs bit me without repercussions - they were not taken to another area, they were not put away for the day, their owner's were never told they broke my skin and caused me to bleed/bruise. Get ready for it to be LOUD and to have your headache exacerbated by the constant smell of chemicals from the HOURLY deep cleans of a HUGE building. An employee warned me the owner hates it when dogs get yelled at, then proceeded to roughly jerk around a misbehaving dog and scream in its face. The owner refused to believe me when I informed her I was unhappy because I had never been told prior to signing the hiring paperwork that I was going to have to go through learning the back first. The owner is incredibly rude and creepy. You won't be allowed to sit down at ALL (minus one randomly scheduled break) for 8 hours, meanwhile she'll be seated all day in her camera room watching you. If you stand in one place for too long, she will take a screenshot with the cameras and TEXT IT TO YOU. I also heard of "multiple mass texts" where she goes off on employees at random hours of the day, even if the situation at hand had nothing to do with them. She is abusive and doesn't care about the well-being of anybody but her and her little pet who she made manager."
