3.2I worked for Bunzl for about a year and what brought me to the company was their interest in utilizing current technology on the IBM I server (formerly AS/400 or iSeries). The reality was far different in the developer's group. Most (+90%) of the development I saw from the past 15 years was still fixed-format and they were clinging to commented out code that was as old as 20 years out of date. Any suggestions to take advantage of more recent capabilities were met with negative comments.
3.8I've worked for Bunzl Baltimore since it opened in 2008. The company is of the best I have worked for in my career. The management staff is solid, and my co-workers are top notch. I would continue my employment status with Bunzl if a similar position was available in the area I am looking to move to.
1.5My experience was negative. Bunzl acquired John Tillman Co. Bunzl lacked learning and focusing on John Tillman's discriminatory management style and lack of confidential information leaking out. We would hear discriminatory remarks to employees in the office as well as in the plant with the plant management. Management needs to be CHANGED and focused on and not risk LEGAL COMPLAINTS.
Due to how I was treated, I wanted to leave as soon as possible.
I GAVE NO NOTICE - THEY DID NOT DESERVE IT.
