"I have worked for the CDTFA, which was the Board of Equalization up until 2017 when the sales and use tax split off. The people are ok, the supervisor are politicians more than supervising. Would I recommend this place? No. The pay stinks (starting is under $40k for at least the first two years) and the benefits are expensive. The best thing is that it’s basically an 8-5 job, Monday through Friday."
