"Total support, reasonable deadlines, building to help sick kids"
What do you like about working at Children's Health Fund?
"CHF has the smartest, best educated and calmest people I've ever worked with. Projects were all about helping medically underserved families and advancing the state of the art in eHealth."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"It's very tough to get an interview there. The company doesn't use recruiters and there's very little employee turnover. Otherwise, you need to have a love for helping others and not watching the clock."
What don't you like about working at Children's Health Fund?
"Worked strictly on an annual contract basis so every fall things get tense with job security. I also worked offsite 100% of the time, which was fine with me, but that can get a little old. I would have liked a little more face time with the other techs, some of who are located on the other side of the country though."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Needs more $$ investment if the company wants to be a major player in open source eHealth."
