"You need to reinstate the work-from-home policy for your employees. It was a benefit offered to both tenured employees and to new hires in IT, and part of the reason they accepted the position. Now it seems that you are stating that your employees' families mean nothing because you are requiring them to spend more time away from their own families, pay more for gas each year, lose cell phone reimbursements and spend a lot more in child care costs. So what HR may not be telling you if you are a new hire or considering joining is that soon there will be NO working from home. If you want a job with work-from-home opportunities, this is not the place for you."
