"What I love is also what I hate, which are the challenges a good cinematographer has to face. I tend to be over critical when giving up on challenges because I also see them as opportunities. I strongly believe you have to do what it takes to get through the toughest shots on film and that takes effort and creativity. When accomplished, it is the greatest feeling ever seeing those shots on the big screen."
What do you like about working at California Film Commission?
"Being able to work with people that know what it is like to be self employed, and to make the decisions without having to confer with others to wait for approval to sign the agreements,,"
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"To try to let the company know that their budget will vary as the eoconomy changes, and to be able to adjust with the growth, or the recession."
What don't you like about working at California Film Commission?
"There are times that I don't have clients, and the stress of not having income, for periods to pay bills.."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"That there may be times not to push clients to do business with them as there are other offers that may be better with some one else..."
