"Ask about long term career planning, current backlog and business prospects. Job security is a concern right now."

"Lack of good communication both at local and national level. No cohesive plan for expanding and aggressively marketing new services in current environment."

"Need to re-think approach to marketing and securing new work. Profit goals should be suspended in favor of maintaining workload and keeping good employees"

"If looking to go into preconstruction would advise against it. If you have a hard bid background only, then ok but will be short term. Have had 5 in that position over the last 4 years."

"Upper management does not understand the meaning of preconstruction. They have a hard bid mindset and do not understand the concept of preconstruction. They have no idea what a detailed estimate is."

"Change your thinking or you will be left behind in the future"

"They have no clue as to what Preconstruction involves ans as this is the trend now they will be left behind and will not listen. Still have hard bid mentality"
