"This place should be avoided. When I worked there, it was simply the worst company I had ever worked for. Management is the worst. They behave like having a job is our reward. No job security. Extreme micromanagement. Some of my colleagues were excellent. But, majority are useless. A lot of employees are there because they can't find a job outside of Epicor. Completely useless. No appreciation for work. Hostile work culture."
"It was a good company to work for nearly 10 years."
"Do not recommend this company. Those who want to drive change in order to make products and strategy more effective are silenced and penalized."
"Epicor Software is an enjoyable place to work and I worked daily with many gifted and dedicated people who drove the client relationship1 While a private equity-owned company, and those sometimes get bad raps, Epicor had forward-thinking executive leadership that, gratifyingly, also maintained a customer focus."
"Growing and a great place to work. No promotions or ability to move up though"
"I’ve worked at Epicor for 1 year, they have awesome perks, you have minor and major medical insurance, tickets for groseries, life insurance, educational bonus per year and all the law benefits and very good salary related to the experience . As a comment the managers should Have more training according to this position lot of them don’t have enough kindness with their teams at least in Mexico, sometimes i didn’t feel comfortable or support from my manager"
"Good but lacking better compensation"
"Not much support from upper management."
"I've worked for Epicor Software since Oct 2012. Headquartered in Austin, TX, there are multiple locations within the country and internationally. Coupled with a billion dollars in revenue and a dynamic work environment, this is a great place to work."
"I worked at Epicor since 1992 and found it a good company to work for until it was purchased and went private, it is currently going through consolidation and cost cutting and may be sold in the near future. Currently development jobs are being moved off shore or eliminated in the USA. If this trend stops then it would be a good place to pick up international software development experience."
"Great company to work, equal opportunity of professional growth and implementation of several current methodologies."
"Been with this company since 2005.In that time it has been sold twice. Which makes for an unstable environment. The company who hired me has changed a great deal."
"I've worked with Epicor for 3 years now and I feel that it has good resources and good opportunity but it's all centered in the US. The Mexico branch is a lot harder to move forward because all the positions to move to are in the US. So regardless that my consulting takes me to the US I am under Mexico's HR."
"If you're younger than 50 you'll be fine!"
"I worked for Epicor for 6 months on a contract to relocate the server farm to a new hosting facility. Most of the work was high pressure as we had a very clear window to move and set up the servers, some of which had not been shut down in 10 or more years."
