2.4Glassdoor wants to believe it treats its staff like a family, but it is incredibly dysfunctional. In the beginning, they seem to treat their employees well, but then arbitrarily eliminate their roles or let them go for no good reason. I have seen it happen many times.
Also, their strategy changes so often that there is no true job security or opportunity for advancement. The management team is inexperienced and immature and often make decisions that lack real thought or analysis.
Glassdoor's product team lacks innovation. They merely copy the market leaders - like Indeed and TripAdvisor.
Good people are being let go, and a lot of other good people are leaving. Glassdoor is not managing its growth well, and the "family" is falling apart.

4.8I’ve been working here for just shy of a year. You get experience working with international customers right out the gate. As an international business major, the experience has been great. Good money built into your backlog if you can hit the ground running. Some months have been absolutely crazy with commission earnings, while other months are so-so. When those crazy good months come there is no feeling like it. Good overhaul of management team which improved relations and the environment.
2.5I've worked for Glassdoor for about two years. In that time I have seen my entire team of original coworkers leave the business. I've tried to remain optimistic in regards to changes that were promised to be incoming, but have neared the end of the road personally for entertaining the idea that things will indeed get better. I would advise others in the CS field to look elsewhere for employment.
