"I worked for HomeStreet Bank from Nov. 2020 until July 2021. It was a very good company to work for, but unfortunately, they had to downsize."

"I worked for HomeStreet Bank for approximately 3 years. I thoroughly enjoyed my employment there. The two main highlights would no doubt be how they treat their employees and how they treat their customers. As an employee, we received very competitive benefits and compensation. They also highly encouraged teamwork and regularly gave out recognition for a stand out performances within the company. You could also tell how valued their customers were. They worked very hard to understand their borrower's needs and do everything they could to ensure a positive customer experience."

"Staff is overworked and underpaid. Company resources are limited and managed ineffectively. Management has aggressive plans for expansion but lacks capacity to support growth. Poor planning and organizationally disjointed."

"I've worked for Homestreet for a little over a year. After agreeing to transfer me down to CA from WA for their expansion project I was laid off for no good reason. Having the longest tenure and the most experience within our group, this was shot from left field. I did not see coming. Now, with being new to SoCal and not having any contacts yet in the lending industry, they left me in the cold."

"I have worked with HomeStreet since 2013. Starting up in Washington I had moved down to Southern California to help with their California expansion project. With the slowing lending environment and reassignment of my regional to a different region, my position was the only one to be laid off. My commitment to the bank had no fissures but their commitment to me, or should I say my boss's commitment, was minimal as she had hired two of her own processors. It's too bad."
