9 Senior Project Managers from Jeppesen submitted salaries.
Jeppesen began as a company specializing in the production of navigational charts for aviation professionals. Today, the business has expanded to include a much broader range of products, including nautical charts, flight training materials, railway logistics and software. Headquartered in Inverness, Colorado, Jeppesen has offices in 50 locations around the globe.
Jeppesen was launched in 1934 by a pilot who had first started drafting aeronautical charts for his own use. Founder Elrey Borge Jeppesen discovered that there was a market for his charts with other pilots, so he began selling them from a workshop in his basement in Salt Lake City, Utah. When the company moved in 1941 to Denver, Colorado, it began providing flight publications to the U.S. Navy and to other commercial enterprises. The Boeing Company acquired Jeppesen in 2000.
Jeppesen’s 3200 employees specialize in a variety of disciplines, including aviation, software engineering and informational tech. In addition to the United States, the employees are based in countries such as Australia, Germany and Sweden. The firm's U.S.-based workers are offered a company-paid benefits package that includes life insurance, business travel insurance, short-term disability insurance and 401K contributions. Employee-paid options include health, vision, dental, supplemental life and long-term disability insurance.
Senior Manager is the highest paying job at Jeppesen at $117,000 annually.
