"The way they are cutting costs. Multiple reductions in force is putting more work on those that are still there. The fear of losing one's job also puts a lot on someone to produce more and the work is not always at the highest quality. It seems as though not all departments are treated equally anymore."

"Listen to my employees and customers. So many times companies are more concerned about the dollar than what makes its employees and customers happy. I hear a lot about the glory days and how the company would show employees how it valued them through incentives and company sponsored events. Put these things back in place to encourage output from your employees and decrease burnout."

"The management was really bad. The employees assessments were cheated because they didn't want to increase salaries. Too much competition between services. Duifficulty to start interesting projects. Sales targets were always increased."

"The opportunities and pay are some what limited, but this position is a in school position. Thus, such limited opportunities is to be expected."

"I would tell them to focus more on teaching research concepts for applicable statutes. The company does teach this area, but I believe it can be done in a more concise and effective manner."

"It was a great job, be willing to learn and honest with what you know and your experience. They are willing to teach you all sorts of things, you just have to ask."

"I didn't like being and contractor. Unfortunately there was no way that I would have been hired on full time for the department I was working for."

"When I started here it was a large company but with a close knit family feel to it. Over the last 5 years that has changed and it is feeling more and more like an average large company. But many of the relationships I have made over the years here are largely what have kept me here."

"It is very common that LexisNexis looks for personality more than skill. They have a strong belief that we can teach you your job, but we cannot teach you to fit in."
