"I have worked with LSO for close to a year now, From the first day of my employment here I have found that the company culture is fantastic resulting in creativity, innovation, and productivity. I have a great relationship with my direct manager and I feel confident and have pride in the ownership of my work. This is due to the support I receive from my direct manager and supporting crew."
"I've worked for LSO for nearly ten years and never received training in anything I do. Management is trained to only delegate work and will not follow written procedures. Verbal instructions are the norm and then denial of any instructions given once a problem arises. Management is not required to know any processes and this is very bad because of the high management turnover. During audits it's not uncommon to see upper management of the company sitting in to answer questions for the managers because most times the Dept. Managers cannot answer basic questions concerning procedures within their departments. There are also many deficiencies with the Cleanroom having major problems in maintaining a "Cleanroom Environment" Which is still the case today with half of its HEPA system capacity being down since 2016. There are no Motors in the housings and customers have not been notified. There are major permitting issues with the City of Brea and the Fire Department that are still ongoing. Manufacturing employees are taken advantage of when working overtime. Many stay after their regular shift to do janitorial work but are paid strait time because they are told it's a different job and that doesn't qualify for overtime. Nepotism is ramped at LSO in the office areas with unqualified personnel in key positions, that along with inappropriate relationships between upper management is a big cause of problems at the company. Long hours, micro management of "everything" I do, little to no pay raises and the rising cost of medical benefits at LSO is going to cause me to look for employment elsewhere. The only positive point I can say of LSO is about the Manufacturing employees. They are some of the nicest people I have ever met and do not deserve to be treated the way they are."
"I've worked at LSO for more than 2 years. My job is not now nor ever was what I was told it would be. The management team is awful in respect to not knowing anything about medical device mfg. Most have no medical device experience/education/background. Family/friends in key roles is a common occurrence where favoritism is ramped and damaging. This is only a stepping stone for a better job later down the line for me. Also inappropriate workplace relationships within manager ranks is a negative!"
"I've working for LSO for the last 4+ years. Overall it is being a great experience, people here are great. However compensation for your work is very low. That is the only downside I can see, other than that working here has been great for me and my career. If you come to work here just keep in mind this will be a stepping stone for you and your professional life, don't expect to stay here for a long time because you will get burned out."
"Over all I would describe my experience here has good."
