"One of the highest growing companies in eyewear globally!"
"There’s a ton of micromanaging depending on what team you’re on and it starts from the top and gets trickled down. If there’s someone micromanaging everyone at this level, that person’s role isn’t important at all. Their time is spent micromanaging adults when they could be focusing on strategy, how to drive efficiencies, how to drive the business, etc. What is the point of their role? A waste of space and air. People are nice but don’t be fooled by your superiors because you’ll eventually learn what their true intentions are. My superiors always wanted to look good. That’s the only thing they care about. How they can further their career, blame others, and argue with people to make sure others are at fault and not themselves. If you’re used to being a self-starter, working independently but collaboratively with others, don’t work here. They want to hire someone who doesn’t need babysitting and doesn’t need to be told what to do, but that’s not true…What’s expected from you is not what they mean. Either way, you’re going to be micromanaged, watched closely, and having constant status updates. This is by far the worst company I’ve ever worked at. I wasn’t able to be the owner of anything, but if you’re a recent college graduate, it might be a good place to start at but don’t stay forever."
"Great company with great people!"
"The work environment is satisfactory but could be improved."
"I have started working for Luxottica as a sales manager in October 2019 since I have working for them experience has been great the only downfall I see as you are usually stuck doing single coverage shifts and the job is a very relaxed Atmosphere"
"I have been working for Luxottica as a contractor for 5 months. I like my team I work with and my supervisor. It is a laid back atmosphere and not micromanaged. You know what is expected of you and it's your job to get it done."
"I've been employed at my current employer since 2015. Although grateful for the project management opportunity in Atlanta, GA for a few months- I feel I have outgrown the role. I am not challenged and there's no guidance from management to excel. Unfortunately, I am beginning to feel like a place holder rather than a valued employee during my tenure here."
"Need good leadership capable of planning."
"I have been employed with Luxottica for the past three years and have to be completely honest when I say I have never been more passionate about putting my leadership skills to work in such an amazing industry. Having a hand in helping people see the world through their eyeglasses or contacts is one of the most rewarding pleasures I have had in my career. The organization has such a passion to help people with quality care and eyewear and truly ensures that every patient matters. The same goes for their passion for their employees."
"The company feels like it was once this powerhouse or good and awesome. They really pushed and loved their work with their charity and while it had its changes, they seemed to be in the best interests of the company as a whole. Since the return of the founder it's felt less structured and focused. Since the beginning of the year I've had 40+ organizational announcements in my inbox, and that's only the ones announced. Many of the changes being made seem like they are the whim of the founder. It's utter chaos and it's a great way to burn everyone out, especially if you eliminate one only to pile their work on another without offering anything but a "that's how it is"."
"I have been working for my company for four months now. They are a large corporation with very good promotion possibilities. There are many skills that I have learned and have started applying in my daily life."
"Good company to learn and grow with."
"This company has a lot of potential and would be wise to get some new ideas circulating to improve the overall performance."
"No long term goals. The direction of the company changes every week. No stability."
"I would never say anything bad about a company I am currently employed at."
