"The pay was not very good and bonuses were eliminated my second summer."

"Reinstate the bonus system. People are motivated to work harder."

"I like meeting people from all over the world. In the winter season, we get people from all over. I also like the people I work with. They are pleasant to work with, and make the experience fun and interesting in a fast paced environment."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"To learn as much as you can about customer service. The hospitality industry is based on customer service and customer experiences."
What don't you like about working at Vail Marriott Resort?
"I don't like the lack of communication at the hotel. I understand a lot of material is on a need to know basis; however, a lot of things that are not mentioned don't necessarily entail a need to know basis. For example, if a fire alarm is triggered, the security team needs to know the correct procedures when dealing with this type of situation."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"One suggestion I have for management is to conduct daily interdepartmental meetings in order to better serve guests so they have an exceptional experience."

"I dont like how the upper management kept complaining. I don't like trying to push the customers to buy so many things ever time they rent a video. I have so many customer that just say I just would rent a video and nothing else."

"Let us just rent video and just the customer to buy just one other thing. What ever the company is pushing this week."

"The customers and staff are very nice, hours are flexible, great place to start out and getting free rentals is very useful for a household that enjoys entertainment in the evenings."

"Be relaxed, if you enjoy cinema it's definitely a fun job."

"Not enough hours to make enough for rent."
