What do you like about working at MEDITECH?
"The people I worked for and with were great. I learned a lot and made a lot of friends as well. Salary increases were great and their annual bonus was better than anywhere else I've ever worked before or since."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"The first thing I was asked in my interview was to tell the interviewer what I knew about MEDITECH; I all but repeated everything in their Web site at the time, so KNOW THE COMPANY. Also, if you have more than a few years in your field, you'll hate the starting pay, but if you're looking at entry level or early career, just appear eager and ask questions."
What don't you like about working at MEDITECH?
"They only hire entry-level, which means low starting pay. Fortunately, it increases rather quickly once you've proven yourself. Frankly I'm still sorry I ever left because they don't hire back former employees."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"The one knock against MEDITECH is that it seems like everybody is just learning their jobs. They should not be opposed to hiring people at the mid-career or senior levels in order to bring in not only experience, but also outside knowledge."

"Poor manangement, exclusively promote from within, which sounds better than it is."
