"Wonderful company to work for and the people are fantastic to work with. As far as career growth, I feel it is a little hard to do but if you want a quality experience, I think this place is great to work at."
"I've worked for Milestone since late 2018. While it gives me many chances to tour tech-based companies, the benefits have gradually been taken from us. My old supervisor put me on the "temporary full-time" position to make me eligible for company health insurance, only to discover shortly before the pandemic quarantine began that they cut insurance for that position near the beginning of 2020. In the span of a year, the minimum amount of miles traveled before they compensate you for commuting increased from 35 miles to 45, and I have no interest of checking what it is now, since all requests for reimbursement were denied anyway. Also, you will rarely find anyone in management who actually care about the technicians out in the field. My current supervisor being the very rare exception. And in the almost three years working and taking yearly company reviews, they have never given me a raise."
"I’ve only worked for Milestone for about 2 months but was furloughed due to COVID-19, so I have nothing to say about the company."
"I've only worked at Milestone as a contracted employee for 6 weeks and started during the COVID-19 pandemic. I was recently furloughed from my job because Left decided to halt all contracted work. Everything with Milestone was great until my whole team was let go."
"Great company to learn and grow within"
"I've worked for Milestone Technologies (Gilead Sciences Site) since 2016. At Gilead Science, I support over 8,000 employees with over 30 buildings. This company is a great place to work."
"True entrepreneurial environment. Fast paced where it's up to you to manage your team and clients."
"I found the experience as a new installer for A/V equipment an okay experience. There were a lot of challenges in a environment such as working for a company the size of Facebook. Constantly having people bring up tickets because the company is growing so fast."
"I've worked for Milestone Technologies since 2013 and have grown immensely within a short period of time. I was promoted twice within 6 months, and was entrusted with the inception and launching of a major project. This company gave me the opportunity to learn skills and technologies quicker than any job I've ever had."
"I have worked with Milestone Technologies for the past year. They have an outstanding reputation with all the major companies within the Bay Area, as well as on the East Coast. However corporate management is very poor, and do not care too much about their contractors in the field. Giving under payment for the position working in and the benefits package is not the greatest. However the ability to move from one contract to another within the biggest companies with the smartest people is amazing."
"Milestone is a good part-time job for someone that has free time on the weekends or can go to a job for extended periods of time, someone who can travel."
"Milestone was a startup locally when I was hired on, so I expected some degree of flexibility to my schedule and day-to-day job processes, but frankly it's proven to be a bit ridiculous. As floor agents, our schedules were being toyed with on an almost bi-weekly basis. Micromanagement became the word of the day. The processes we were told to follow changed even more frequently and drastically than our schedules; creating an efficient routing was very difficult. Metrics outweighed the people."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"For this role don't wear glasses and do cover up your accent and throw around a lot of technical words. Ask that you have a witness for your interviews with the two hiring managers in case you don't get hired."
What don't you like about working at Milestone Technologies?
"It's clear my team has no clue what is going on. All the managers do is complain about everything. No time, not making enough money, no support. We've only been here a few weeks and we're already looking. My friends are asking to be referred but I wouldn't let them come into work for the service delivery team we have. They aren't technical and it's clear they haven't a clue what support is. I don't know how Milestone was given this business. One of the hiring managers is clearly discriminatory. He went so far as to tell me we can't hire people with accents because it might appear we have outsourced overseas."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Hire leaders that know what they are doing plain and simple."

What don't you like about working at Milestone Technologies?
"The heads of the largest MS accounts are not qualified for their roles and always putting the company at risk with contract violations and less than ethical behavior. They don't push back on clients to actually assist the program in developing, the answer is simply yes. Then they wonder why the internal teams can't deliver; unfortunately the CEO allows the MS teams to consistently throw the support teams under the bus.Nepotism is horrible here and extends to former neighbors, parents of children's' friends and golf partners."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"The CEO needs to stop reacting to information provided by the external teams. When you get comments, get all the information first and hold the account leaders accountable; it's the only way things change. I have been thrown under the bus by my own SDE, to cover up his mistakes."
"Overall, this has been a great experiences."
