"There is not much I did ont like about This company. I guess the fact that I got laid off. Thjey did away witrh a lot of the incentives they gave for working hard."

"Go back to the reward plans that were there when I first worked there."

"It is a very good company to work for but it is very hard to get hired. Must know someone from the inside to help you."

"Basically since I was 100% remote I had to be available 100% of the time. Which was normally not a problem because it would allow me to manage my own time."

"I guess management was great, they were clear about everything and most of the time they would only contact you when something urgent was needed, other than that they would let you work."

"They seems to hire 'experts' in an area and not generalists. They do encourage a world view because they are an international company."

"Would like to make changes faster. It takes way too long to implement needed changes. I understand the cost and the need to roll changes out in a controlled manner, but some things take too long."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Keep your most valuable people, not just numbers in an organization when you 'downsize'. Encourage and reward people who have a wide knowledge of the technologies, and use them to help drive the entire org. It seems the 'experts' in their area drive the organization, but they do not understand all the impacts on all other areas of the IT ecosystem."

"The culture at senior level meetings was rule by fear (cycles of violence and silence) and the ability to plan strategically was limited due to current hot topics taking all the attention and resources."

"Every senior manager must make a pact to change the culture as well as a commitment from the Senior Leader Team, both as individuals and hiring an external group to support this change. (monumental task but it can be done... reinventing their company with the same skill set.) seems even more important now that Google owns Motorola Mobility."
