"Great company if you like to party and drink with the ones you work for."
What do you like about working at Obsidian Entertainment?
"I loved the independence offered to each of us. The amount of creativity is amazing!"
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Sound smart and always be available. Time constraints that affect them will immediately get you off the call back list. Also, NEVER respond to saying you wouldn't implement a system when asked. Always come up with creative solutions and continue elaborating until told to stop."
What don't you like about working at Obsidian Entertainment?
"Lack of leadership in my team - a very in-experienced manager who stifles growth if it comes close to the realm of his/her goals or the goals of those he/she has a personal relationship with outside of work."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"I would suggest hiring individuals with experience that was not attained on site - but rather at another company prior to coming to Obsidian. There are too many kids running the company and it shows in and outside of the walls in the quality of the products delivered."
