"The company has given me time to deal with a personal issue which came up and made sure I recieved a load to Florida to get to my cousin's funeral. Most of the people I have met and worked with have been friendly and helpful, which helps me improve my own work."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"I would suggest honesty and be ready to adapt to many situations that will arise in the daily workload. Also I would immediately start contacting associates and contacts in the field to have people ready to complete projects."
What don't you like about working at Millis Transfer?
"My biggest complaint is being away from home for extended periods. Family is important to me and the balance between home life and career must be benficial to all parts."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"I would like to see management more available to the workers and not just available 1 day a week for email. Drivers spend most of their time away from family and home, so being able to reach the manager to voice concerns I think would help keep morale and productivity high."

"Very poor training and directions, very week driver support, bad company reputation and very poor pay."
What do you like about working at Swift Transportation?
"I liked driving over the road and going to new places. Enjoyed doing the deliveries."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Don't apply with them. If you do work with them, than make sure they don't cheat you."
What don't you like about working at Swift Transportation?
"Directions to my delivery sites was very poorly given, they would not let me get any sleep and I wasn't pleased with their attiude."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Get your act together before you get someone killed. You need to improve your training."

"After a while, I felt they cared little about me, as long as I got the cargo delivered."

"Take care of your drivers needs, especially security on their personal autos while they are away, and you will have better drivers."
