"I love the mechanical aspect of the job. It's definitely one that takes a natural skill and mechanical ability, and the job requires long hours on your feet. The twelve hour shifts can be long but it's rewarding work and the benefits are absolutely amazing--I'm seriously blown away by them in this economy. I wish I didn't have to rotate Sundays, since I'm active in my church, but having days off mid-week is incredible for family life. There are many chances to improve my skills and move up in the company, which is great if you plan on making injection a career. I DO wish there was more detailed training, as I didn't feel completely prepared my first official day on the floor. But like with anything, you have to sink or swim."
"I love been production technician it was a challenging job since we have to achieve company goals on time in order to meet needs.I hate that the company was outsourced to China, Mexico, France - that's why I'm out of a job."

"Don't be dazzled by this company's claim to various benefits. These are merely low cost alternatives to paying staff fairly. Ask pertinent questions."

"The pay is insulting, everyone that I work with is chronically unhappy. Mostly thanks to a focus on profit, while pretending to genuinely care about staff"

"The best way to pay respect and appreciation for good work is to pay them a respectable wage"

What do you like about working at Arrow Electronics?
"Some of the work was fun, it gave a new understanding on how computers worked, and it allow me to troubleshoot all sorts of problems that help with my troubleshooting skills."

"None, they do not do job interviews, they use a 3 month period to see how good you are, and if they think you are good enough, then they will hire you."
What don't you like about working at Arrow Electronics?
"The strict environment, no talking to coworkers unless if it was about work. Managers were always super serious and always look over your shoulder."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Relax, don't micromanage, treat the employees as adults, not kids. And don't use fear to control employees, use rewards."

"For those interested, look for a very short-term plan, along with perhaps the most inefficient company I have ever seen in my entire life."

"Upper management ignores their people and continue to remove privileges unnecessarily."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Listen to your people and understand them 100 percent. Ignoring people like this is begging for a Union to become their voice."
