"I have only worked at Prospect Mortgage for ten months. I came to Prospect for renovation loan programs and a company familiar with Homepath renovation financing. They are very good at these programs. I am not yet certified in either 203k or other renovation loans and have to refer them to another loan officer in my area. I have a desk in a Real Estate office."

"I have worked for Prospect for about 3 years and had great years with them.They have expanded large through out United States.Recently the market for home funding has fallen down,and they laid off a large group of employees and departments."

"My short time at Prospect Mortgage was NOT GOOD. My manager was clueless and always withholding information from employees. She would strive on pointing out our mistakes. She was never in her office and would delegate HER workload onto others. My experience with co-workers were good, they were always helpful. I just don't understand why our manager was still there! Overall, workload was a lot. Stressful but manageable. If it wasn't for the lack of support and motivation, I's still be there."

"They treated you as an adult, they're not over you all the time because they know how I work and the responsabilities I have. They take into consideration what I do for them and they always appreciate and tell me the way I did my job. The supervisors are very communicative and always listen to you when you have either a good idea or a problem. I think they're very human and considerate."

"To think positive and to be aware that they won't give you time for you to get another job when they give you the notice that you've been laid off."

"I like the people, the environment, and the way the work."

"when they laid off people they should give them more time. They told me the same day and they did the same thing to others in my department. Since they are asking for a week of knowledge they should do the same when they're going to laid off people. everything else is good about that company."

"Be a producing loan officer before applying. They require 9 loans closed in the 90 days before you applied before you can be hired."

"Processing and Underwriting support and integration of software within company. They have told us they are working on it."

"Prospect is a large corporation that experienced massive growth by merging three companies at the same time and had the expected growing pains to work out."

"To give more time and training to new employees and less time spent looking just a numbers in a recession. Quit calling all new loan officers F Hires. It really doesn't inspire loyalty in a company."
